Can this classic cocktail recipe for a mojito, using simple ingredients like soda water, mint leaves and white rum, bring together the essence of both summer and pride all by themselves? We think the answer is yes.
This is our mojito recipe and brand recommendations for the Cuban born cocktail:
4 sprigs of mint
2 tbsp of fine sugar
1 1/2 ounces of Bacardí SUPERIOR rum
1 1/2 tbsp fresh lime juice
2 dashes of Angostura aromatic bitters
Use a tall highball glass, like a Collins glass. Gently bruise the mint and sugar with the back of a spoon or muddler. Add rum, lime juice and bitters and stir to dissolve the sugar. Fill glass with ice and top off with club soda. Garnish with lime sprig and / or lime wedge. Enjoy.
