Natalie Morales as LGBTQ Chef in 'Dead to Me' Worth Netflix Streaming
What to watch: If you're looking for summer streaming shows to add to your Netflix list, consider dark comedy Dead to Me. Season 2 was recently added. And if you haven't already given it a look, the show stars Christina Applegate, Linda Cardellini and James Marsden. The premise is based on a widow (played by Applegate) who begins searching for the hit-and-run driver that killed her husband...
Jumping forward to season 2, we find Natalie Morales (of White Collar, Parks and Recreation) playing a chef who gets romatically involved with Linda Cardellini's character, Judy Hale. Morales's character, Michelle, offers Judy a simple and uncomplicated human connection at a time when Judy's world is anything but simple.
Natalie also came out as identifying as "not straight" in 2017 in her open article on Amy Poehler's Medium blog Amy Poehler's Smart Girls.
Dead to Me seasons 1 and 2 are streaming now on Netflix and the show has been renewed for a third season.
