OREO Cookie Partners with PFLAG National in Short Film "The Note"

VIDEO: OREO is reaffirming advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. They've strengthened their role of ally by partnering with PFLAG National, the first and largest organization supporting LGBTQ+ people, their parents, families and allies.

In a new short film titled The Note, by director Alice Wu, OREO Cookies are a centerpiece in the tale of a young man experiencing the journey of lifelong conversations surrounding coming out.

The original creme-filled chocolate wafer OREO Cookie was launched by Nabisco in 1912.

OREO is the most popular cookie brand in the United States, is sold globally, and many varieties have been introduced since. OREO generates over $500 billion in sales annually.

A few of the current varieties offered today include Mint Flavored Creme, Chocolate Creme, Birthday Cake Creme and Golden Sandwich Cookies with Lemon Flavored Creme.

On the Pride section of their website, OREO states that their goal is "...to help make the world a more accepting, affirming, and compassionate place". They also encourage others in becoming active allies and supporters.
